my mum's been nagging saying that she hasnt seen me home for dinner this whole week. and the only day that i was home for dinner, i spent it doing my project till 8am the next morning. slept for like less than 4 hours and head straight to school after that. followed by a meetup with some friends for dinner after class, reaching home only around 11pm plus. my whole week has technically been more or less like that. out till 11 or sometimes later everyday.
i dont even have time to put on my twice weekly mask okay!!
but enough about my whining. i was initially gonna ask you guys how your week was but like since nobody really replies to anything i blog, why bother. so lets just move on to my pictorial entry, isnt that why everyone is here anyway, to scroll thru the pictures. hahaha!
anyway, remember i recently blogged about how singapore is so boring at night and that the only thing you can do is have dinner and drinks and thats about it. well, there is another thing thats kinda annoying me.
its like when you and your friends plan to hang out right, then where do you go? and where shall you seek answers for this impending question? to the trinity or course. this trinity is not made up of the catholic father, son and the holy ghost but instead, town, city hall and bugis. this is like the top 3 most common places to go to. of course i wont generalise and say its the same for everyone. but still, can you actually think of other places to go?
so i met up with Danny recently and in the end we ended up in town. shocking i know. hahaha!
we couldnt really decide on a place to eat so we ended up camwhoring for a little while.
we walked around for a little while until we decided on this turkish restaurant tucked away in the corner at far east plaza.
i had some lamb kebab thingy which not exactly fantastic. it tasted exactly like how it looks. mutton slices doused in tomato paste with 2 tablespoon of tasteless yogurt at the side and one green chilli at the top. and redundant tomatoes at the side which failed in making the dish look prettier.
danny had this wrap thingy which i think he kinda like. doesnt look fantastic to me though. the food at this eatery is not exactly cheap. more towards cafe prices. so if you're on a budget or have a very picky tastebud, i'd say just stick to the eateries at the smoky top level of far east plaza instead. you might come out smelling like what you eat but at least it satisfies your stomach and your wallet.
anyway, have you guys ever had this urge to know what that sombody has in his or her bag. i sometimes do. to me the contents of your bag tell me about you as a person. for example, some people like to separate everything and keep them in little pouches in their bags. this to me could mean that you're either very organised or just anal. or like some people have a lot of grooming/make up items in their bag. this could mean that either they're very vain or just like to constantly look good.
so count yourself lucky today cause you're gonna get a sneak peak into what's inside my bag.
leather carryall from Revoltage. i like bags that have shape and structure.
ipod nano to keep me company on long bus rides. i usually listen to black kids, the killers and the gossip.
i hate waiting. be it waiting for people, waiting for the bus or waiting in the queue. luckily i got my nintendo ds to play with. mario kart, mortal kombat and sudoku is like my top 3 games that i always play.
holga. i like the suspense of not knowing how the pictures will turn out.
since i have medium length fine hair, my hair always goes flat halfway throughout the day. so this kinda helps to maintain my crowning glory. lol!
ray ban tortoiseshell wayfarers. for sunny days and when i want to sleep in public transport.
gold pen from funkdeco. a man without a pen is not a man.
so what do you think the contents of my bag tell you about me??
ok here's a few more random shots of me with my bag while waiting for the train.
XOXO
